Yin Yoga

Description
Step into a space of stillness and deep release. Rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, this deeply nourishing practice works the body’s connective tissues through long-held postures and the support of props, encouraging release, restoring balance, and creating harmony within. Each class begins with breath, reflection, and a restorative shape to quiet the mind and settle the nervous system. From there, we move through Yin postures, held for several minutes, allowing the fascia, joints, ligaments, and deeper layers of the body to soften and open. Gentle guidance is woven, along with moments of silence to offer space to turn inward, cultivate patience, and release effort. We close with Savasana, giving the body time to integrate and return to balance. Each class is guided by a thoughtful theme inspired by yoga philosophy, offering reflections to carry with you beyond the mat. Facilitated by: Kara Hoke
